Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
The team was deep on the blueline when McAlpine was part of the Devils' system, particularly stay-at-home D-men
like him. Hence, he spent the balance of his stint with the Albany River Rats.

That would be the story of his career wherever he went, having to compete for ice time. He did manage to squeeze 2 50-
plus game seasons out of the Blues.

Fromm 99 through to 2003, though, he played for 5 different NHL teams. And that's not including their minor league
affiliates.

He would be let go by the Kings after the 02-03 season, and was off for the entire 03-04 season. He would try a
comeback during the lockout with the Cincy Mighty Ducks of the AHL, but retired for good after 14 games with them.

He has appeared at various hockey camps as an instructor since he hung them up.

He also became a sports agent, working out of Octagon Hockey, based in Minnesota.
Entry Draft: 1990 Seventh Round Pick (137th overall) by the
