How often do you find a an enforcer get chosen so high in the first round?... Well, in Wiemer's case, playing in the
WHL, he WAS an offensive threat along with that, but as a pro, he was never known for his offense.

His presence on the Devils did give them some added toughness heading into the playoffs when he played there in '06.

His knees must have taken a toll on him over the years, because after the season ended, he had reconstructive surgery
done. He hasn't played hockey since. He was even on long-term IR for 06-07 if memory serves correct.

So right now, he's just playing the family man role.
