Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
There was a lot of promise for Tlusty at one point. Coming out of the OHL, he was projected to be a sniper who had a
good work ethic and was strong on his skates.

While with the Maple Leafs, he didn't live up to the projection, although he had found success with the Marlies when
he had been sent to the AHL.

While with the Hurricanes, though, he was taking steps in the right direction. Playing alongside Eric Staal, he's had
some of his best offensive years, with the lockout-shortened 12-13 season being his best, placing fifth in the league
in goal scoring. He did come back down to Earth in subsequent seasons, however.

He did get an opportunity to show that he can still be "that player" when he signed with the Devils. However, his
season was slowed by lack of production and a wrist injury that required surgery.

After the season ended, talk of his future has been quiet, so I couldn't even offer insight on his possibilities.
