Yup, the Devils had acquired Sutton 4 times in his career. That's right. Four times. And the balance of Sutton's tenure
with the Devils have been played with the Albany River Rats, including his last stint in the system in 02-03.

He obviously provided something for the River Rats, though. Words of wisdom for the youngins there, and in 98-99, he
won the Eddie Shore Award, the AHL's answer to the Norris Trophy.

After leaving the Devils for the last time, he would play in Germany for 3 seasons before hanging them up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was coaching somewhere, too. Sorry, I don't have any info about post-retirement.
