|Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
Unless I missed my guess here (And largely because I don't feel like doing the research right now), with the game he
played against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the season finale, Santini became the first ever player, not just for the
Devils, but in League history, to have come from the Hudson Valley area of New York. While he was born in
Bronxville in Westchester County, he grew up in Mahopac in Putnam County, and had played with the Brewster Junior
Bulldogs for a handful of games prior to joining the US Developmental System.
Through his formative years (juniors, and at Boston College), he's always been regarded as an effective stay-at-home
defenseman that'll bring the pain with his heavy hits. During his junior year with BC, he has been pegged as being
ready for the pros.
After the Eagles' season ended, he signed his Entry Level contract and made the aforementioned appearance in the
|Entry Draft: 2013 Second Round Pick (42nd overall) by the
New Jersey Devils
