Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
O'Connor had plenty of offensive upside coming out of Michigan. He got to exhibit some of that upside when he played
in Utica, registering 2 30+ assist seasons when he was there.

He was no pushover, though, as you would see with his high PIMs totals.

He did see a few games in New Jersey, but wasn't able to crack the lineup on a permanent basis. Honestly, he wasn't
able to become a full-timer at all. After he signed with Anaheim, he only played 5 games with them. The rest of his
career was spent in the IHL. (4 seasons in San Diego, Houston, and Cincinnati.) He evolved into more of an enforcer
as he finished his career.

After leaving the Cyclones, he played one season with Japan's Nippon Paper Kushiro to finish his career.

He has two sons that are playing: Logan with the University of Denver Pioneers, and Owen with the Calgary Royals
Midget AAA team.
Entry Draft: 1985 Third Round Pick (45th overall) by the
New Jersey Devils
