This Lemieux was just as feisty and annoying to play against as Claude was. He better be; they ARE brothers.
The only difference is Jocelyn wasn't as known for his offensive game during his pro career as Claude was... Or I should
say those skills didn't develop so much on the pro level.
The year Jocelyn was part of the Devils, though, Lou was apparently desperate to fill the role that Claude's departure
left vacant. Esa Tikkanen didn't work out after 3 weeks, and apparently, Jocelyn didn't, either, after 2 months.
I'm unable to find if injuries had anything to do with that. I say that because he was injury prone in his career,
particularly in his later years.
He last played an NHL game in 97-98 with the Phoenix Coyotes, and his last game ever while in the IHL with the Long
Beach Ice Dogs the following season.
In 2010, he joined the RDS staff as an analyst for their NHL broadcasts.
