Klee (-fense (snickers to myself)) over the years was a solid stay-at-home defenseman who had some playmaking skills.

So what went wrong when he came to the Devils?

...If you prefer not to think about it, that's alright.

He was always a durable player, so him moving around so much after he left the Capitals in 2003 cannot be attributed to
the injury bug. No, I think it was more a struggle to find a team that wanted him.

He last played for the Phoenix Coyotes in 08-09. During the summer, he told his family that he would be retiring, but
nothing has come across the NHL offices' desks yet as far as the paperwork for that is concerned.

He joined USA hockey to coach the women's program. He has been behind the bench for Worlds and competition in
the 4 Nations Cup. When he's not working for USA Hockey, he's running his own clinics and coaching youth teams in
Denver.
