Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
In the grand scheme of things, Herron was nothing more than an average backup goalie that did have a chance as a
starter. (Even if he DID win the Vezina and the Jennings trophy while with the Montreal Canadiens in the early 80s.
(Not in the same year, by the way.))

When you talk about him with the Scouts, though... He holds nearly all the records in team history. On a team that was
so bad, that's about the only bright spot I can see in regards to him.

It was also his first chance at a starting job on the NHL level. He would get another shot at that when he returned to the
Penguins... both times.

Like I mentioned before, he did get something good out of his career finally when playing for the Habs.

He has worked in various sales jobs since he retired from hockey in 1986, including a car dealership in Quebec and
a hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida.
