Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
After a standout college career at St. Lawrence University and some marginal success with an awful California Seals
team, Croteau was given a fresh start with the Scouts. He would provide a wide-open style of play that wasn't seen all
that often in the NHL pre-expansion.

However, he would miss out on the Rockies' only trip to the postseason because of an injury.

He would take over as team captain for the 1978-79 season.

After leaving the Rockies in 79-80, he would play one minor league season before calling it a career.

During his playing days, he earned a Master's in guidance counseling at the University of Missouri. However, he went
to work in real estate in the Denver area when he retired from playing. (I think for Coldwell Banker, if what I found is
correct.)
