I'm not able to find much about Buhr. Here's what I do know:

He spent nearly all of his career in the minors. Those 6 games with the Scouts were the only ones in he played in the
NHL.

Judging by his vitals and his numbers in his minor league career, he looked to be a third-to-fourth line player. After
further research, I found that he played a physical game, as well. No surprise.

He would retire from playing in 1978. He had become an engineer for Cominco while he was still playing for the Smoke
Eaters, so life after hockey was set for him. The job would eventually lead him to move to Stockton, California.

He would die of a heart attack.
