Those of us that know Boulton remember the hat trick he got against the Devils while with the Atlanta Thrashers in the
10-11 season. That's probably because that kind of thing for him doesn't happen very often.
Getting on the stat sheet 5 penalty minutes at a time, though, is.
In the first few games of the 11-12 season, he reputation as a willing fighter has already preceded him, apparently. Twice
he was boxed before anything had started up: he got a 10 minute misconduct against the Flyers when he went to
confront Chris Pronger late in the game, and he and Jordin Tootoo of Nashville got 2 each for unsportsmanlike as they
were doing some jawjacking. That occurred after Cam Janssen and Brian McGrattan went at it for nearly 2 minutes, so I
thought that one was funny.
I still wanna see if he can live up to being the energy player that he is BEFORE the refs step in like that.
