Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
At the time Awrey was bought by the Rockies, he was playing for the New Haven Nighthawks in the AHL. That was the
first time he's played in that league in over 10 years.

That's right, Awrey was a longtime NHL veteran at this point.

Most of his best years were with the Boston Bruins. He was never known for his offensive ability. Rather, he could
throw hits and block shots with some regularity.

After leaving the Bruins in 1973, he had played for St. Louis, Montreal, Pittsburgh, and of course, the Rangers and
Rockies.

After he finished the season and retired, he worked odd jobs before ultimately starting his own charter bus company.
Then, after that venture succeeded, he retired from that and is currently living in Naples, Florida.
